Meet the Team
Gabriella Gueits, LSW (she/her)
Psychotherapist
Everyone has a story that makes a person who they are. These stories, whether put onto us by others based on our identities or created by ourselves to enrich our lives, impact how we view or interact with our family, friends, society, and ourselves. I believe that we all as individuals have the power to either accept or change our stories, and as a therapist I am passionate about learning what makes a person who they are, listening to others empathetically and without judgment, and helping clients re-author their new stories.

As a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s of Education in Human Sexuality, I bring a wealth of knowledge and sensitivity to my practice. I utilize a strengths-based approach, focusing on your inherent strengths and capacity for growth. Together, we’ll work on fostering your strengths and empowering you to navigate challenges in a way that aligns with your values and goals. As your therapist, I will work with you collaboratively to set meaningful and achievable goals for therapy. My approach is grounded in understanding and addressing your unique story, using a narrative and trauma-informed framework. I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where your experiences are heard, validated, and explored with care. My approach also incorporates mindfulness techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy.

I am deeply committed to being a trauma-informed and sex-positive therapist, recognizing the complexities and intersections of these areas in your life. I specialize in working on topics including, but not limited to, trauma, intimate partner violence, sexual trauma/assault, relationship and attachment issues, depression, and sexuality-related concerns. Whether you're seeking support for healing past wounds, improving relationships, building skills to manage everyday stressors, or exploring aspects of your sexuality, I am here to support you every step of the way.
